On Monday February 19, 2018, Bivines turned himself into Fulton County authorities in connection to the fatalshootingofRyan Thorntonin Buckhead, Atlanta.[3][2][1]

Thornton had ordered food Saturday, February 17, 2018 using the UberEATS app.

As he was walking away from Bivines at around 11:30 p.m., words were exchanged between the two.

Bivines then allegedly fired severalshots, striking Thornton several times. He fled the scene in a whiteVolkswagen.[3][2]

Thornton was taken to Grady Hospital in critical condition and later died.[3][2]
